I am an East London-based beverage and still life photographer.

I have been a writer, brand strategist, academic and bartender.

My photography is centred on a (“professional”) obsession with ice-cold cocktails and the physics and art of portraying them – or their stories – on camera. Stylistically, I seek inspiration in broader aesthetic and cultural trends from the keenly contemporary to the deeply historic. I like to think that the result is somewhat unique.

In my non-commercial work, themes of interest include the uncanny, narrative power, and the body as a site for performance and expression.

Away from the camera, I regularly speak about trends within drinking culture, and host photographic workshops for the cocktail industry and media.

I have photographed 11 food and drink books, including Tristan Stephenson's epic Curious Bartender series, Tony Conigliaro's Drinks & 69 Colebrooke Row, the Twin Peaks cookbook Damn Fine Cherry Pie, and the Experimental Cocktail Club's eponymous volume.
